On this episode, Rick and Kailah dive into the 2015 Oscar winning movie, Spotlight that’s based on a true story of the Boston Globes investigative efforts in uncovering the abuse and cover up in the Catholic Church. They dive into the movies themes that include organizational religious dysfunction, abusing leadership power, and grooming. They also talk about ways that spiritual and religious leaders can proactively get support to prevent dysfunction. And finally, Rick gets nostalgic for newspapers!
